9:00 - 9:45am Arrive at "The Abbey of the Genesee" in Geneseo, NY. Find out how and
why Cistercian Monks produce "Monk's Bread," using only the finest ingredients and an old-fashioned fermentation process. For a special treat, purchase a loaf from their outlet and enjoy the wholesome goodness at home.

10:15 - 11:30 Next stop, the Jell-O Gallery in LeRoy, NY. Explore the museum and
discover the rich history of "America's Most Famous Dessert." (Don't forget to
stop in the gift shop for a treasured memento. ) Then follow the Jell-O brick
road to the "Historic LeRoy House" and tour a home reminiscent of
yesterday. (Rt. 5)

11:45 - 1:00 All this talk of food has made you hungry. It's time for you to go around the
corner and visit the D & R Depot Restaurant. This restored train station has
homemade food and great service. Don't forget to look up; they have fun
decorating their ceiling. (just off Rt. 5)

1:15 - 1:45 Time for dessert!!! Take a short drive up Main Street for a real treat at
Mackinac Island Creamery, located next to G's. This is some of the best
ice cream in Genesee County. Experience Black Bear Chocolate Almond
Pecan, or Claws and Paws Butter Pecan Cashew-.peanut butter fans? Try
Peanut Butter Fudge! (Rt. 5)

2:15 - 3:00 Just in case you didn't choose chocolate ice cream, you still have another
chance to get your chocolate fix. Travel to Batavia for a stop on Rt. 5 at
Oliver's Candies. This family owned business has been making fine
chocolates & candies for over 50 years. Shop in their very large gift shop and
purchase one of the local specialties - sponge candy. (Rt. 5)

3:30 - 4:15 Still in search of sweet stuff? Then you'll like the visit to Indian Acres Maple
Farm in Darien Center, NY. Discover how Maple Syrup is made and sample
maple candies. Products are available for purchase. (Rt. 20)

4:30 - 5:15 Time for something savory and Kutter's Cheese Factory on Rt. 5 in Corfu, NY
is the perfect choice. They offer wines and gourmet cheeses that will start the
evening right. In business for over 50 years, you'll discover a wide array of
products you can purchase in their store. (Rt. 5)
